About us:
We are a church that lives and expresses the Catholic faith under the tradition of the Church of England, because of this we are not Roman. The great majority of the members of our community are Mexicans and we have some small groups of people from the Caribbean and Central and South America.
We all add to the flavor of the expressions of faith of our Latin American traditions and all are welcome. In the church we find the love of God who guides our lives, and we also find God reflected in the faces of our brothers and sisters with whom we share our stories in this community.
We are foreigners in a foreign land, that is why in the church we find a bit of our own land, our own customs, expressions of faith we grew up with, our own music, our family life sharing and even our own food.
We all come tired and overwhelmed with the way we live in this land. None of us is perfect, and that is why we search for the unconditional and compassionate love of Jesus, we know he loves us and welcomes us just as we are. And we all shelter under the protection of our Lady of Guadalupe who gives our Mexican and Latino identity to our people.
We come to the church to be challenged to grow and share what we are receiving. We are a Mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona and we are supported and promoted by our Bishop Kirk S. Smith. We hope to become a self sufficient Parish. We have the largest Latino population in the Diocese and we are still growing.
